Our new friend got himself invited ;) to our home not that we didn't want to have him over. He was dying to have a true marathi jevan as it was new to him. He came loaded with so many eatables for us mostly Kannada specialities that I had to distribute them to neighbors. He is such a loveable guy that I know he is welcome to my home anytime. He is just someone who can light up your home with his mere presence and can you believe he is 60 plus!
I cooked for him a festive meal and gifted him with a momento that means a lot in our lives. The Paan as in leaf a steel one here the thali consisted of :
- Puri
- Shrikhand (Traditional)
- Chavalichi Aamti ( Black eyed bean curry)
- Varan/ Pivli Dal
- Bhaat/Dhaan
- Gajar Kakdi Koshimbir
- Kothimbir Vadi
I will share my recipes for these recipe in the upcoming most posts.
